Happy Friday!

Hope you are all having a happy Friday. It's just down right HOT here in Texas! I've done my errands for the day and before I get into stuff I need to do today, I thought I would jump online and show you a few pics. These are from a couple of weeks ago.

I've had this metal flower forever - it moved here with us so more than six years because it was already faded when we moved. It has been hanging out in the garage all this time. I didn't mind the rusty part too much but it was so faded you really couldn't see it from a distance.

A couple of weeks ago I bought these flowers - we will get back to them later, in another post, but they inspired me to paint my faded, rusty flower so I could use it.

The result. You can see that baby now! I used regular craft paint and then sprayed it with clear coat so maybe the paint will be okay. I just parked it here to take the pic while some other stuff was going on in the back yard. More on that later too.

Hope you have a happy weekend!
