'New' China

Awhile back, like mid-February, we made a trip to Jacksonville and 'recovered' a few things from MIL's (and by default, now SIL's) storage building. Since we had already brought the few big things (one of which is the white cabinet in my breakfast area) we wanted earlier, I didn't bring much back but I thought I would show you one of the things I rescued. There was this whole set of china that nobody else was interested in so I brought it home to live with us.

Isn't it pretty? It stayed on the cart in the kitchen just like this for over a month. It is just so pretty to look at.  I finally decided, for safety, I should find a place to store it. (That is how I found 'Too Cute For Pie') Anywho - it is now safely tucked away but easy to get to when I want to use it. Our everyday dishes consist of Fiesta Ware and paper plates along with some mix and match pieces of china I have picked up at antique shops here and there.
There are a couple more things but I will save them to show later.

Hope you all have a great weekend!
