Thirty and counting

Today the hubby and I have been married for thirty years. How is that possible? We were planning to take a trip to North Carolina (to tour Biltmore) but that hasn't worked out - yet. We still plan to go, it will just be later. Maybe when Biltmore is decorated for Christmas - maybe not until next spring - who knows. On the home front, our house has been shown (finally!) but no offers. :( While I'm at a stitching retreat this coming weekend (yeah!) hubby will drive in and do yard work. The boys are doing a pretty good job of keeping the house cleaned up and feeding the dog, but they aren't any help at all with yard work! I did have some things starting to bud out in the flowerbeds last time we were in - some things I wasn't sure if they would come back or not were budding out. We are driving in tomorrow as hubby has a meeting at the main office on Wednesday morning so I can't wait to see what is blooming now. Hopefully I will find my camera so I can share pics from the last time and take more tomorrow - it can't be that hard to find in this tiny apartment!

This picture is from the trip we took (5 years and 50lbs ago) for our 25th anniversary. It was taken in New Orleans the morning we left on a cruise.

Have a great week!

I can imagine living in a tiny space will get old fast. But look at it this way: no kids underfoot! Stitch your heart out, Tina!

happy Anniversary! You will love Biltmore! There is always something new! I am still waiting to go at Christmas and I want to take the rooftop tour! Living close by makes it easier to go more often!

Happy 30th anniversary!

If you're showing the house now, at least it's a start. Hopefully you'll get an offer soon!

Congrats on your anniversary! Do try to make it to Biltmore sometime, it is beautiful. Of course, I enjoyed the grounds as much as the mansion itself.

Happy Anniversary!!!! 30 years that is great.

Biltmore. Very nice place to visit. Have been there and really enjoyed it. Did some damage shopping too. Was with some stitching buddies. We had before and after pictures with our shopping bags.

Hope the stitching retreat was fun. I have met a lady from Texas at a retreat in mid-March that was going to a retreat this same weekend. I wonder if you were at the same one.
