This weekends project was pincushions. I did the embroidery on this little
pincushion and then sewed it up - all by myself! You may remember that the sewing machine (aka - the beast) and I do not get along well. When hubby came downstairs and saw I had the beast out he asked me what I was doing. He reminded me that the beast and I are not on friendly terms. I told him I was going to sew this little thing up if it killed me!
So - what do you think? Not too shabby (if I do say so myself) for a rookie!
Hope you have a great Monday!

It's just *sew* cute!
Thanks for visiting my blog :)
I love this pincushion you made!
Hey, I used to be from a small East Texas town too, when I was a kid, we lived in Tyler and my parents would go all the time and sell stuff. Fun times! Since I've been married and living near Dallas, we hardly ever go.
PS, I was referring to going to Canton to sell stuff, duh! LOL! My fingers got ahead of my brain.
Anyway, I loved Canton and thought of it when I saw your post about going :)
Wow!! Great job on your pin cushion.
Looks to me like you tackled the beast and won.
Tina your pin cushion is great. I think you tamed the beast:). Linda
Adorable!!!!!!!!! Was this a pattern from a booth at the Houston Quilt Show? (I went too) Terry in Arlington
Those are darling! You do such nice work! :)
For someone who has sewing machine beast problems, this is a work of mastery. Beautifully made!
