The grand tour

I showed you the balcony the other day so I thought I would show you the rest of the apartment.

Come on in

You have to climb. The door at the top is the pantry.

at the top of the stairs, to the left, is the kitchen

From the far corner of the living area you can see where the stairs come up

From the other corner, you can see the bedroom and bathroom doors. There is also a door from the bedroom to the bathroom and they all meet in that one corner - you have to play musical doors!

The bedroom

note the lovely window dressings

the bathroom

From the bedroom door you can see more lovely window dressings in the living/dining area

Let me open them so you can see the view.
Not much, but it is home for now.
If you think there are some things hanging in odd places, they are. The only nails I have put in are the chalk board and the plate in the bathroom - everything else is on nails that were already here.
Well that's it.
Hope you come back soon.

Well it's cute and cozy! I know you miss having your large home, but until you find another, that one is like a little nest! Just think of all the poor folk out there that don't even have that! That's what I try to do when I become "disenchanted" with my place and want to remodel and update everything. And best of all, I'll bet it's cool; ya can't beat cool when you live in Texas in the summer!

What a nice tour. It looks so homey and inviting, which is what a home should be. I love the open part, and is that a quilt over the chair? Big smile....love your stitching and the quilt block in the other post turned out beautiful!
Blessings,
Debbie

I love it that you took little lamps and homey things to the apartment and make it cozy while staying there. I think of you often and hope very much for your home to sell soon. Terry in Arlington

Thank you for the guided tour... Do I spy a lovely quilt hanging at the foot of your bed? :-)
