Two 'reality shots' for today
#1 - How much paper does it take to fix one insurance goof? (which btw, was NOT MY goof) In addition to all the paper I had to use the iPad to look up the insurance agent's phone number (seriously - have you seen a Houston phone book?) You would think the least they could do when they send that much paper is include a phone number. Umm, no. Glasses because I can't see, two phones - because I can't ever remember my home phone number so I either have to give my cell as a call back number or look up the home number on the cell.
#2 - Notice anything here? No picture on the tv - why? Because I had to reset the dvr (second time this week) To reset the dvr I have to move the wooden box that hides all the cords - I just leave it on the floor until I'm sure it is going to 'take' (sometimes it takes more than one reboot) Pliers because the old HDMI cable broke on one of the many reboots that have taken place in the last year. So much fun. (I finally ordered a new HDMI cable - now I need to put the pliers away). I miss TiVo.
Pop over to Mockingbird Hill Cottage and see who else is posting reality shots to day.
Tomorrow, stitching pics!

Love your shots this week. If I had a dollar for every time I've had to reboot my cable, I'd be a wealthy woman!
Insurance just seems to require lots of paper work doesn't it? I hope it all worked out and all your hard work has paid off.
Thanks so much for joining in.

As a person who is married to someone in the insurance business and as a consumer who must deal with insurance issues, I can sympathize re the paperwork. They seem to love it - from both ends - the consumers and the employees. Maybe those insurance companies have stock in paper companies - sometimes I wonder. And just so you know - I would DIE without my DVR! Okay I wouldn't die, but I would be quite cranky that I couldn't watch my shows without commercials WHEN I want to watch them! Ann
Can't get more real than that -- been there, done that, and it wasn't fun. Hopefully it all works out well for you.
Nothing is ever simple and fast is it. Glad to see you again at Reality Thursday.

Oh mercy!! I'm glad that we don't have cable...we have to have satellite out here in the country. And I'm glad I don't have to deal with insurance issues...that's hubby's job!! Both issues seem like major headaches. You need some "calgon take me away" time or at least a nice hot cup of tea to help you relax. You deserve it. ;
