I tried to post this picture yesterday but it wouldn't post. Anywho - this is my kitchen window. I looked for a piece of stained glass to hang there for at least a couple of years before I came across this piece. I knew I wanted blue & yellow but I just couldn't seem to find what I wanted. There used to be a little antique shop in Bullard (blink you miss it - the whole town, not the shop) and I found this at that little shop. Loved that shop! Just 10 minutes up the road. One day I went that way and the shop was GONE! No sign on the door, just gone. Fast forward several months and I was in Mineola and there was my shop! I don't get that way as often as I used to, but I still love this shop. (it takes an hour to get there now) The last time I was there I bought another piece of stained glass but I haven't taken a picture of it yet.
And - on a happy note, I get to pick up my van today! It's been in the shop two weeks and I've been driving my mother's car. While I am extremely grateful to have her car to drive (hubby's truck has no a/c, and this is August in Texas - a/c is required!) I will be really happy to have my mom-mobile back!

I love the stained glass! I would love to have something like that too... but I have Artie to contend with ;) Glad you got AC - and I had the nerve to feel sorry for myself with the "heat wave" we had in North Idaho this summer - geez.
Love, Esther
I guess it's time for our chocolate meet-up
Thanks Esther. I just brought it home along with some chain and hooks, then told dh where I wanted it hung! I have two others in the bedroom. I would love to have one hanging in every window - I have a long way to go! LOL (there are 5 windows in the bedroom alone!)
Why yes, Margo, I think it just might be time for that chocolate meet-up. Just tell me when and where!
