Happy Spring!

Good morning and happy spring!

Our weather can't decide what it wants to do - freezing last weekend, record highs this weekend. Typical spring in Texas!

Things have been busy as usual. I've been trying to get a little stitching done.
I'm trying to keep my focus on patriotic and Christmas this year.

I finished the stitching on this little trio from With Thy Needle and Thread.
Only three colors but I had to change the 3023 to 3022 (DMC) because the called for got lost on the fabric. One strand over two on 36 count Dusty Road by Seraphim Hand Dyed Fabric.
I will eventually make them into small pillows.

We got to spend time with baby girl last weekend. Sure wish they lived closer. She is growing way too fast!

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Happy stitching!

Neglected

Well, seems like this little blog has been a bit neglected.

Things got busy after my last post and I'm just now getting back, but I thought I would share some of the new ornaments on my tree for 2025.

This was a Mill Hill kit but I used a piece of fabric instead of the perforated paper that came in the kit. I think I have shared that daddy and I had taco Tuesday almost every week from right after mother passed away until right before he did. I couldn't not stitch this one. I added 'Taco Tuesday'  and did a flat finish.

I stitched this snowman for Tyler's ornament this year. Designer was Primrose Cottage. This one only stayed on my tree until they went home after Christmas then it went home with him.

Chicken Joy by Stitching With the Housewives. It was a freebie several years ago and has been sitting in my to be finished box for about that long.

Baby girl's ornament came from the same chart as Tyler's and also went home with them after Christmas.

This was in the 2024 mystery ornament box. The design is Hand's on Design and I finished it on the board that came with it. (though somehow mine seemed to come out a little larger than the photograph?)

This last one was in an older JXS ornament issue. I don't remember which one off the top of my head.

Baby girl helping her daddy at the Christmas Eve service.

Last, but not least baby girl, her daddy and her dog.
Today is her daddy's birthday!

No promises - not even guesses - as to when the next post will come.
Thanks for stopping by!
