Hard working man

This pile of bricks used to be the foundation on the three porches that were on this house. Well, calling them porches is generous they were maybe 4' x 5'. Anyway - when we tore the porches off to build the new ones we saved these bricks. Over the last couple of weeks, hubby decided to pull the rock out of a pathway and put brick there. As you can see, the brick was not cleaned up before it was stacked out behind the garage so he had to clean the brick as he was using it. (I'll have to take a picture of the huge rock pile that used to be the patio and is stacked next to this pile of brick)

Here is my hard working man - hard at work.

and here is the finished product.
I've really got to come up with a clever way to disguise that ugly fence or give in and replace those green strips.

Hope you are having a great week!

Your brick path is so nice - reminds me of alice going down the yellow brick road.

I love the old brick walkway and the iron bench. What a wonderful resting place. Your pooch is darlin'.

Good morning Tina :)

The brick path looks wonderful and your grand-dog is really cute!

Thank you for giving me farmhouse support. I've been a mess for a week, but I feel better now :)

I hope you're having a lovely weekend.

What a beautiful place to sit! How about planting some fast growing vines to cover? I have a trumpet vine on my back fence and then the hummingbirds love it too!
