I did actually finish the September block in September!
I've even stretched on into October so hopefully I will be able to keep up this month.
I've also been working on this
Seasons of Baskets by Plumcute Designs. I thought I should at least work on something that came home from the quilt show last year before I head back this year. 4 weeks from tomorrow! We are going to have so much fun!
I did manage to not lose my mind over the weekend (but it was tough). My van is home from the carspital after some minor surgery. (did you know carspital is not recognized by spell check?) Hopefully it will not have to go back anytime soon. I need it to last at least another couple of years and I really wouldn't care if it was longer than that. I like it, I haul whatever I want in it without worrying if it will get dirty, I park it anywhere I want. There are a lot of advantages to driving an older vehicle! Hubby got a new (to him) ride over the weekend so we will have something newer to take when we go out of town and mine will mostly just putter around town and make the occasional trip to Tyler. (he still has the company vehicle until tomorrow so I'm driving his until then!)
Stitch night tonight and quilt class tomorrow night. I've got all my pieces cut out. Bertha is still in her case since I knew I wouldn't have time to sew anything this week I didn't see any reason to set her back up only to have to pack her again tomorrow!
Hope you have a great day. I'm having hot flashes (I know - TMI, but it is what it is!) so if I make it without a major headache before the end of the day it will be a miracle.

I think the weather is to blame for some of the hot flashes. So cool in the am, so warm in the pm. Makes a body crazy!
love the September red thread! I went to the Houston show last yr ..skipping this year. I am going to take a day off and stitch in honor of it..I haven't made the things I got there last year either! :) Terry in Arlington
Your stitching is so wonderful it reminds of the things my grandmother made...brings back such sweet memories.
Congrats on finishing your Sept block. Really cute embroidery too :)
