On the left

I"m going to try linking to Claudia's Reality Shot Thursday party. I've never participated in a linky party so who knows if I can figure it out or not!

This is the left side of my stitching chair. The big 'book' is where all my junk is supposed to be put away - it rarely happens. Lets see what we have - a ring of floss (for the stocking I showed the other day) my phone, chapstick, hand lotion, needles, thread (I sewed binding on a table topper this morning) a gum container I have been using as a snippet jar, glasses case, nail file, highlighter, scissors (only one pair - interesting) letter opener (it is a little clear plastic jobbie hiding under the scissors and highlighter), Romantic Homes magazine, more needles and 3 (yes, count 'em, three) remotes.

And yes - the project from yesterday is a small rocker. Other side has been painted and I am not-so-patiently waiting for the paint to dry before I take the sanding block to it!

Now let me see if I can figure out this linky party stuff.

Yay, you figured it out! Welcome to Reality Shot Thursday and thank you for joining us.

Boy, do I identify with this post! I have a table next to my blogging/stitching chair full of that kind of stuff. It gets so overcrowded that things are always falling off the table.

But we do need our supplies, don't we? You should have something to snack on, as well .... maybe some chocolate.

You did figure it out. Hope you link up whenever Claudia has a Reality Shot Thursday. I just starting linking up to blogs in the last 3 weeks.

I LOVE your stack of remotes! This looks like the table next to my bed - since I do a lot of handwork in bed at the end of the day. Stuff is always sliding off the table and under the bed. Love, Linda

Well, at least you have a pretty box to put it all in, whether you use it or not! LOL

Love the remotes, it looks like home.

I don't think that looks too bad at all, it's a fact of life that remotes take over a room if you don't watch out!

WE can all share in your organized mess, lol! I detest my pile of remotes - why can't one of those ugly babies do it ALL? You'd think with the amazing technology available someone could figure it out by now!

Glad you joined us for this fun Thursday.

Happy day - Mary
